The project includes a 12,000-square-foot office quarters with a separate 1,000-square-foot storage facility, a 12,000-gallon fuel tank with enclosed pump station, and a 40-foot-high communications tower. The office quarters provide private office space, briefing room, evidence room, armory and clerical space. Vehicle Maintenance Bays are attached to the office quarters. The project design adheres to the Meyers Community General Plan and the Tahoe Regional Planning Agencies Design Policies. These policies dictated an Alpine character that blended with the natural beauty of the area. Sustainable building materials are used throughout this project.
